The Head of Marketing and Communications is accountable for all internal and external Marketing and Communications strategies for the firm. As a key leader in the organization, this role requires the ability to create strategy, manage the team’s detailed project plans and present to the CEO. This includes responsibility for all marketing channels (e.g., digital, social, print, sponsorship), business units (e.g., Commercial, Private Wealth, Consumer) and functions (e.g., communications, research, creative, brand) across Texas Capital Bank.
I would start by conducting market research to identify target audiences and competitors. Then, I would create a strategic plan that includes clear goals, target messaging, and a mix of online and offline marketing tactics. Regular analysis and adjustments would be made to optimize results.
In the capacity of Head of Marketing, we lead our organization’s marketing efforts, providing strategic guidance and leadership to the marketing business team. Our ultimate aim is to increase awareness of the mission, presence, and products of our organization to support sales growth. For this, we conduct market research and evaluate findings. Armed with data-based insights, we develop various marketing and advertising campaigns and oversee their implementation. We are also responsible for the marketing budget, as well as ensuring brand-consistency internally.
