SUMMARY:
This
position is responsible
for managing EZGO/PTV dealer sales performance and market position within the
Mid-Atlantic region (NC, VA, W. VA, KT). The District Sales Manager (DSM) is
responsible for developing new sales opportunities, both through the existing
dealer network and direct accounts or by proactively developing new dealers and
direct accounts. This person will train and develop dealers and distributors
throughout the region that will promote EZGO and Cushman
brands. The DSM has overall
responsibility for the achievement of set regional sales goals & marketing
objectives relevant to the Consumer Business.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prospecting and establishment of new
dealers to support products relevant to the Consumer Business.
Ensure all dealers & distributors
meet Territory Unit and New Dealer objectives.
Manage dealer & distributor sales
training.
Maintain sales & market
information within CRM platform
Coordinating dealer terminations with
legal liaison and approval from Director of Sales.
Forecasting of New Unit Sales for
Consumer Branded Vehicles for the territory on a monthly and annual basis via
SIOP.
Complete territory sales report on a monthly
basis via MMR.
Process all vehicle orders in a timely
manner on approved order forms via Order Entry.
Attend shows and or expositions
relevant to the territory and Commercial Business.
Ensure product knowledge and training
skills are qualified to successfully promote the products and train dealer
sales personnel.
Represents
Textron Specialized Vehicles at trade shows, bid openings, and conferences as
needed and applicable.
Responsible for relaying information
to other company personnel concerning possible field product problems.
Perform direct commercial and
industrial sales as required to manage territory growth.
Perform territory competitive analysis
to support sales planning.
Provide competitive intelligence to
Director of Sales on product trends, competitive programs and other market
intelligence to support Consumer sales efforts.
Perform distribution gap analysis to
support dealer development actions/planning.
Provide input to the management team
on development of new product or service features that will meet current and
future customer needs.
Develop and implement plans and
strategies to cultivate new business opportunities.
Collaborate with internal departments
in the development and implementation of strategies, plans, and business models.
Frequent overnight travel in order to
service and satisfy customer needs.
Perform special projects as assigned
by management.

experience.

Being District Sales Manager, we build and develop the management team by providing continuous training to them to remove all the technical issues in their work.
