Position Summary

We are seeking high school students who are passionate about creating the next generation of products and services. The selected candidate will work at our office in Huntsville with a hybrid of both in office and remote work. The ideal candidate will assist in the design and development of systems, utilizing their engineering skills and proficiency in CAD software.

This role will require creativity and innovation to combine the discipline of Systems Engineering with larger program and corporate objectives. In this role, the candidate must be able to conceptualize solutions, define product roadmaps and know how to apply new technologies to meet emerging customer needs.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with the engineering team to understand project requirements.
• Develop detailed CAD models for system components and assemblies.
• Assist in the analysis and testing of systems to ensure performance and reliability.
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate CAD models into the overall system design.
• Document and maintain accurate records of design changes and updates.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• A High School diploma and enrolled to pursue a Bachelor's degree in systems engineering or a closely related technical discipline
• Strong MS Office skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, critical thinking, and problem solving skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• US citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance

Desired Qualifications:

• Completion of an engineering-related internship during high school is preferred
• Experience with CAD modeling is preferred
