You ll develop our German marketing strategy, in concert with the overall global marketing strategy and implementation roadmap and you will collaborate with the Polestar HQ marketing & brand team to understand strategic initiatives, both globally and locally. You re the contact point for all German Polestar marketing activities and you ll plan, manage and launch marketing plans for all channels.
You will develop and deliver specific campaigns to create and maintain high levels of customer interest in the German market, in keeping with the global marketing plan. You will stay informed on current global marketing trends.
You ll present the subscription-based model to the German market, and establish a working relationship with the Care by Volvo team to maximize efficiency. You will also be working closely with the Retail Development Manager to deliver the level of consumer experience required for the Polestar brand.
Who are you?
You are driven and committed, with a proven track record in marketing communications and brand building. You ideally have a degree in marketing or a business-related degree, but more importantly should have significant recent experience in marketing management. Good working knowledge of marketing communications programmes in traditional and electronic media is expected.
You are a good collaborator who can effectively interact with and influence a diverse group of people. You re motivated and enthusiastic about developing the brand. High productivity and attention to detail are essential, as are good analytical skills. You also need to be able to work with a high degree of autonomy.
You should have strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent written English is essential, as well as proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and understanding of online CRM systems.
Ideally, you have a proven track record in a company with both global and regional/local structures, maybe from an FMCG company. You have excellent communications skills and are comfortable working in a matrix environment. You can think strategically and can be hands-on in an operational sense.
