About LAHA:  LAHA stands for Lung & Allergy Health Associates. Established for over 40 years, we are a coordinated network of pediatric pulmonary, immunology, and allergy physicians and supporting healthcare groups focused on change and innovation in patient care to exceed quality standards.  In affiliation with Long Beach Memorial Medical Center/Miller Children’s Hospital, we use a multidisciplinary approach to target the needs of all our patients to manage and maintain ongoing quality care for many allergy and lung related diseases. Through our inclusive networks we hope to advance treatment protocols in patient care to help our patients today.
Description: 
TPIRC & Laha are looking for a part time bookkeeper to work 20 hours a week between the 2 companies (10 hours each a week). Main responsibilities include billing and reconciliation of billing. 
Past experience in healthcare is recommended but not needed. 
Other Responsibilities: ·         Proven understanding of debits, credit, general ledger and full accounting cycle  ·         Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills and ability to independently prioritize multiple tasks ·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills ·         Ability to sustain productivity in a fast-paced environment ·         Detail-oriented and able to exercise good judgment
Requirements:

· Minimum of 3 years bookkeeping experience · QuickBooks desktop, QuickBooks Online, Cloud and hosted-environment experience · Full understanding and applied experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

As Bookkeepers, we maintain records of financial transactions by establishing accounts, posting transactions, and ensuring legal requirements compliance. We are also responsible for maintaining subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions while maintaining general ledgers by transferring subsidiary account summaries. We prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends in compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements. We also process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll on time.
