As Adjunct English Instructors, we are tasked with developing, instructing, and reviewing course material and curriculum in coordination with the lead instructor. We create a friendly and safe classroom environment where students feel comfortable to facilitate their learning. We also develop and set up various assessments based on departmental regulations and requirements to evaluate student’s weaknesses and schedule small group sessions to help students better understand the course. We work with assistants to provide extra support to students who require it while answering any question that the students’ have and provide accurate feedback on their assignments.
