Essential Functions: Coordinate training curriculum for assigned registrars and admitting staff or any other department staff to be trained on business systems. This includes CERNER PM Office, Powerchart, FirstNet, Medipac where applicable, etc. Train all new registration and admitting staff on operational functions, to include current policies. This includes classroom training and functional training in front-line environment. Provide courseware and general training to other department's staff and outside vendores who utilize products pertaining to Patient Access. Utilize a Customer Satisfaction form for all training. Average a 4.5 on "overall satisfaction" on all forms completed by attendees. Collaborate with Patient Accounts, Medical Records and IS to determine changes needed for electronic claims submissions, charge corrections, coding and CDM. Maintain a minimum of five (5) hours per month floor experience real-time in all areas to maintain current standards and best practices knowledge rendering to audits.
Qualifications/Requirements Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field
