Job Description

**MUST BE LOCAL TO BEDFORD, MASSACHUSETTS-HYBRID ROLE (TUES AND WED IN OFFICE)

We are looking for a Principal Software Developer to fill a position on our clients Asset Performance Management team, building the next-generation predictive and prescriptive analytic solutions to optimize the reliability our customer's critical assets . You will work on clients' flagship product, supporting the current commercial version, while also playing a role in its evolution to a scalable, cloud native, microservice-based architecture.

Your Impact:

Develop, maintain and support our clients' flagship product
Implement core modeling, usability and performance enhancements in the product
Participate in the transformation product to a scalable, cloud native, microservice-based architecture
Provide technical guidance to junior team members
Work with other team members to create design, use case, architecture and specification documents for our product
Keep current with new and developing technologies as they appear in industry and academia, and assist in determining the feasibility of implementing new technologies
Work with the Customer Support and Quality Engineering teams regarding customer and product issues as well as functional and feature testing
Adhere to standard processes for agile development, new feature implementation, defect processing, source code control and unit testing
Provide technical support to product management, product marketing, services and business consulting

Qualifications

Education: B.S. in Computer Science, M.S. in Computer Science a plus
Strong programming experience with C# and the .NET Stack
Solid experience with SQL Server and database technologies
Experience with microservices and cloud applications a plus
Experience with time series databases or Asset Maintenance and EAM systems a plus
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with English fluency
Strong problem-solving ability while working in an entrepreneurial team environment
must be local to Bedford, MA as candidates will work a hybrid model, in the office every Tuesday and Wednesday, weekly. (or more if you choose)
