CACI is seeking a SOF JTAC OPERATIONS INSTRUCTOR to support administrative and instructional tasks that are assigned to the Assaults Division of NSW Training Detachment in Virginia Beach, VA.

What You'll Get To Do:

• DOD SOF Military Units require Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) and Close Air Support (CAS) training program support services.

• This position will provide programmatic training support resulting in operators qualified to conduct SOF JTAC operations, support requirements include:

• Management, materials, and supplies (not otherwise provided by the Government) necessary to plan, schedule, execute and document JTAC training, as well as capture and report lessons learned.

• Assisting in training scheduled by the Military Unit that develops JTAC accredited Controllers and Pilots. The training consists of strategic scenarios for service members that direct and engage in close air support and offensive air operations.Performing data entry on computers utilizing current versions of Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Office applications like Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other related programs.

• Travel multiple times to various CONUS locations for periods up to two weeks by Government or commercial conveyance, as required.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

• Hold or be eligible to receive and maintain an active Secret Clearance

• Provide proof in AJACTS of current JTAC Instructor and/or Evaluator qualifications to facilitate government initiation of Letters of Designation.

• Posses a current JTAC Instructor qualification (2 points) OR current JTAC Evaluator qualification.

• SOF training experience OR SOF combat experience and JTAC deployed experience.

• Department of Defense (DOD) JTAC qualification as a JTAC Instructor and/or Evaluator.

• Demonstrate familiarity with SOF JTAC tactics, techniques, and procedures.

• Extensive familiarity with JTAC operations and TTPs in current post-9/11 combat CAS operations.

• Instruct in current theater Special Instructions (SPINS).

• Background in intelligence and in building mission products for scenario development

• Preferred prior programmatic experience, running or tracking JTAC qualifications, or Special Operations Forces (SOF) inspection experience.

• Preferred experience with JTAC academics currency tracking software
