Job Description

The Multifamily Reporting and Analytics team provides Multifamily business teams with a well-organized, documented data lake, fast data on-boarding, and business intelligence solutions, analytics, training, and data assistance for the entire organization.

As a valued colleague on our team, you will provide guidance to the team in analyzing customer requests and determining solutions to solve business needs, lead the creation and implementation of applications and BI tools to explore and understand data, and collaborate with the team to produce insights and solutions.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE
The Business Intelligence Lead - Multifamily role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

Lead a team in the identification and analysis of customer needs and strive to do what's right for our customers
Lead team in the development, implementation, and maintenance of business intelligence (BI) applications and tools
Guide team in the creation and implementation of automated business processes and mechanisms to generate meaningful reports to help us deliver on Fannie Mae's vision and purpose
Perform hands-on work with data analysis, data visualization, data validation and quality assurance
Create effective, scalable, and intuitive dashboard/reporting solutions to raise useful and actionable insights
Provide recommendations to the team to determine business needs through understanding business unit operations
Manage/develop business requirement activities for Multifamily business reporting and analytics through various reporting and dashboards, independent data analysis by extracting from a suite of data containers from cloud and other areas
Work across teams and promote productive relationships to improve clarity and ensure that processes are as streamlined as possible
Provide other analytical and business analysis support to key initiatives and operations

Qualifications

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Minimum Required Experiences

4 years of experience in a Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Science, or similar role.
Expertise in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
Intermediate SQL knowledge and skills.
Intermediate Alteryx skills.
Exposure to Python and/or R programming.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal skills.
Have a demonstrated passion for data and working in data-driven organizations.
Understanding of SDLC process and deliverables/agile methodology.

Desired Experiences

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field
Tableau administration experience preferred.
Previous experience/education in Multifamily Mortgage business is very helpful.
Exposure to AWS or other cloud technologies.
