Lowe’s Summer Internship Program Overview
Lowe's 2022 Summer Internship Program offers a challenging, project-based opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to enhance their understanding of the retail business world through valuable, hands-on experience with a FORTUNE ® 50 company. The internship will provide broad learning, experience, organizational knowledge, and business acumen. We are looking for:

The summer internship program begins with orientation on May 31st and concludes on August 5th. All internships are paid opportunities. This role has potential for conversion into a full-time position for those that successfully complete their internship and required education. And qualified interns will be eligible for Lowe's housing benefit.
Areas of Learning
The primary purpose of this role is to oversee all resets and packet information for Lowe's stores and works on small to large and complex services/project to meet the needs of Merchandising, Merchandising Operations, and Field Support teams. This includes responsibility for gathering and analyzing service/project specific information and communicating with the appropriate service/project execution resource. This role is responsible for not only program and project support, but also for the execution and operational efficiency of these programs and projects.
Intern will work with Store Support Center (SSC) and Field stakeholders to assess the currently available project status, employee capacity and readiness data to gain an understanding of gaps, critical KPIs, and planning and execution measures. Primary data source used will be Workfront Project Planning software. Additional data sources will be SSC Employees, RetailGIS Smart Project and SmartMap suite of tools (previous experience with these software tools is not required). Once the assessment is complete, primary deliverables will be dashboards and scorecards that Program Managers, Project Managers, Deployment Analysts use to understand, communicate and provide visibility to current health, capacity and execution readiness.
Education and/or Experience:
Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Workforce Management, Engineering, Communications, General Business or related field with an expected graduation date of December 2022 or May 2023
Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA is required
Proficient in MS Office Programs (specifically Word, Excel, and Power Point)
Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Python, Jupyter Notebook, or SAS will be helpful
Strong collaborative, problem solving, analytical, communication skills, along with financial and business acumen are required
Relevant internship and retail experience is a plus, as is experience in a leadership position at work or within a campus organization
