We are actively seeking an Energy Analyst/Engineer to support our Building Sciences Group

In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide energy modeling for new construction and existing buildings, analyze trend data for energy systems, building operations, and campus energy systems and advise building owners and architects on sustainable design and operational strategies. The Energy Analyst will also support energy auditing, retro-commissioning, and other building optimization services as well as net-zero energy & carbon neutrality strategic planning efforts.

Qualifications of the successful professional will include:

Essential:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or other technical fields.
  • 1-5 years of experience working in the sustainable building design or energy sectors.
  • Knowledge of MEP systems, sustainable building design and decarbonized energy systems.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to Data analytics.
  • Experience presenting technical/analytical information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
Preferred:
  • Building Energy modeling expertise (IES-VE, EnergyPlus, eQuest, CBECC-com, etc).
  • Knowledge of energy codes and standards (ASHRAE 90.1, IECC, Title 24).
  • Programming and data analytics (Python, R, SQL, VBA, etc.).
  • Business analytics and dashboarding (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Applicable certifications and licenses: PE, LEED AP, CEM, BEMP.


Salary Range: $65,000 - $110,000

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the proposed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Glumac's total compensation package for employees.
