Technology Consulting, Senior Manager Consulting – Ecosystems and Data Foundations

You may have an opportunity to join Cognizant’s Technology Consulting team as a thought leader relating to Technology industry ecosystems and data foundations.  This key role is accountable for helping our clients’ digital transformation journey. We are looking for consulting leaders who have strong technology focused consulting experience in vertical, functional, and technical domains.  As an ecosystems expert, you will be working with other consulting leaders and client teams and accountable for understanding their processes, objectives and challenges and bringing together industry best practices to build new processes and a solution that enables Digital Business Transformation. As an ecosystems expert you understand the trends in tech industry and the need for strong data foundations to support them.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide thought leadership within the Digital Business and the tech vertical  
  • Co create with the client innovation and strategy to address client challenges 
  • Facilitate cross-project collaboration. Drive program level planning efforts, identifying and leading critical program level dependencies  
  • Analyze and relentlessly focus on value delivery and encourage improved business outcomes to achieve program goals and metrics 
  • Bring together multiple solution components  
  • Understand, initiate and or facilitate scope / changes to SOW, supporting the individual Project/Program Manager(s) as required 
  • Interact with Client and Internal Cognizant partners to resolve critical issues and communicate potential 'significant change', as identified 
  • Ensure a strong understanding of the Client’s needs; use opportunities to understand and provide inputs / direction on their IT / Business roadmap to provide focus and visibility in to the CXO charters 
  • Share consultative feedback with the Client Partner/ Engagement Director in terms of client's focus areas 
  • Collaborate with other consulting leaders in defining new processes, data models and user experiences to support dynamically evolving business and IT systems landscapes

Professional Qualifications and Skills 

  • Professional Services experience with 10+ years within technology consulting, digital services, management consulting, or within a SI firm  
  • 5-10 years’ in strategy, operations, process consulting, stakeholder management with recent digital transformations focus 
  • MBA or Masters degree strongly preferred; Bachelors degree required 
  • Broad program management experience and Agile methods 
  • Knowledge of Business domains, Digital trends, digital ecosystem and skills for Tech Vertical or more industries 
  • Strong knowledge of data foundations, typically customer, partners, product entities
  • Significant expertise in helping clients remodel products and offerings to support SaaS and self-service oriented subscription models as well as consumption-based billing
  • Significant experience leading sophisticated transformations or programs that span functions, departments, and enterprise  
  • Proven leadership of teams and business priorities through building relationships, listening, consulting and influencing outcomes in both client delivery and in sales 
  • Experience holding Trusted Advisor Roles
  • Effective Communication – emotional intelligence, empathy and strong social, communications, and engaging presentation skills 
  • Structured Thinking and Presentation – comfort dealing with ambiguity and ability to provide structure and frame thinking logically and effectively
  • Articulate sophisticated business insights  
  • Consultative, entrepreneurial, proactive, and productive; someone who instinctively knows what needs to be done and motivates colleagues towards accomplishments.
