Position Summary:
Establishes and maintains effective relationships with youth, demonstrates appropriate boundaries, and ensures appropriate care and supervision.

Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS in related field qualifies as URMRW2 and will be paid at higher rate. URMRW1 without relevant degree must meet alternative minimum qualifications established by California Department of Social Services. Experience working with immigrant or refugee populations required. (Relevant degrees include, but are not limited to: International/Global Studies, Comparative Religion, and World History)

Salary Range: $42,640 - $46,904
The posted pay scale for this position serves as a general disclosure. Actual pay offered within the range will be dependent on individual factors such as skills, qualifications, and relevant experience.
I prioritize my caseload by assessing the urgency and importance of each case, and then creating a schedule and action plan accordingly.
As case workers, we help people in resolving their issues so that their lives can get better. We evaluate different steps necessary to improve someone’s situation and carry out the legwork to make the change happen. Some of us deal with older people that might help those get rides to receive meal delivery or doctor’s appointments. We counsel and assist disadvantaged children from troubled houses and individuals with serious diseases. We are responsible for making regular visits to homes and reporting and on the needs of families are also our duties.
