What will you do?
  • Resolution of subscriber delivery complaints and concerns
  • Contact subscribers to resolve service-related issues; interacting directly with Independent Contractors to resolve service concerns in a timely and permanent manner
  • Monitor delivery of all products distributed by Independent Contractors within the distribution center.
  • Focus on subscriber retention by providing exceptional delivery service.
  • Ensure compliance with Independent Contractor agreements; recommend corrective action for non-performance.
  • Verify the accuracy of information received from Independent Contractors.
  • Monitor and assist in delivery of customer issues such as missed, damaged, or late delivered papers.
  • Regularly attend departmental meetings to maintain a cohesive, well-informed unit.
  • Regularly communicate progress and concerns to circulation management.
  • Accurately monitor and maintain consumer service data and all other routine reports, records, and forms.
  • Prepare requested reports in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Periodically audit routes to evaluate the delivery service goals and sales potential.
  • Ensure that the distribution center is maintained in a safe, secure, and clean manner.
What will it take to be successful?

The successful candidate be a strong customer advocate with a focus on resolution.
  • You must be a self-starter with the ability to work autonomously
  • We are looking for someone with excellent communication and influencing skills
  • You must feel comfortable making difficult decisions
  • Our business is rapidly changing and you will need the ability to react to change productively
  • You must have knowledge of computer skills using Outlook and Excel. Other proprietary computer skills will be taught once onboarded
  • You must be able to work a flexible schedule - a majority of your schedule will be at night
  • You will need to have reliable transportation with a valid Texas driver's license and proof of auto liability insurance.
  • Prior newspaper service preferred
