We believe in inclusivity and welcome people from all walks of life, including the elderly, refugees, people with visible and invisible disabilities, LGBTQIA+, veterans, and more.Job Expectations:- Assist the Station Manager in the day-to-day operations of the retail facility.- Maintain oversight of station operations and staff in the absence of the Station Manager.- Provide work direction, motivation, and coaching to staff during shifts to ensure tasks are completed according to CSI's guidelines.- Follow safety, security, and quality guidelines, as well as all other CSI policies and procedures.- Understand and ensure compliance with company wage & hour requirements.- Handle cash and maintain accountability.- Ensure the safety of yourself and others by following CSI's Loss Prevention process.- Maintain professional and courteous contact with coworkers, customers, vendors, and the community.- Be reliable and maintain regular attendance.- Perform customer service duties as needed.Principal Duties:- Provide work direction to staff during shifts to ensure station operations are covered, including customer service, stocking, cleaning, and food service.- Assist with product inventory management and ensure accurate stock levels.- Process customer transactions and provide assistance/training to Customer Service Representatives (CSRs).- Operate and maintain cleanliness of food service equipment.- Inform the Station Manager of any issues or concerns.- Ensure compliance with safety standards and use appropriate personal protective equipment.- Use computer programs for daily store operations.- Keep the Business Consultant informed in the absence of the Station Manager.- Perform other duties assigned by the Station Manager or Business Consultant.People Management:- Ensure all station employees understand and comply with the company wage & hour guidelines.- Support and role-model CSI's core values of safety, diversity, inclusion, integrity, and trust.Job Specifications:- Required skills and experience include previous experience in a fast-paced retail, food service, or fuel environment, cash handling, and customer service.- Experience operating a cash register, computer console, and related equipment/software.- Knowledge of sanitation and safety requirements related to food storage and serving.- Willingness to work various hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and handle challenging situations professionally.- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.- High School graduate or equivalent, minimum age requirement of 21.Physical Demands:- Walking, standing, reaching, grasping, and pushing buttons throughout the shift.- Bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and reaching below waist.- Continuous lifting of weights up to 10 lbs and occasional lifting of weights up to 35 lbs.- Work with equipment that can create high temperatures and use appropriate protective equipment.- Exposure to outdoor conditions, cleaning supplies, and cold storage.Benefits:- Full-time & Part-time shifts available.- Competitive weekly pay through Direct Deposit.- Health & Wellness packages available for purchase.- Education reimbursement program.- Shift Differential Pay for select shifts and job titles.- Management Bonus Program.- Loyalty Service Time Program.- Commuter benefit Program.Compensation Range: $21.52 - $32.28 per hour.Chevron Stations Inc.
