Job Description
The Sales Support Specialist role requires someone who is customer-service focused, detail oriented and has a sense of urgency to enable Oracle sales to be successful. This role is critical in that it allows for the partner sales team to focus more on growing the partner community and selling to the Public Sector customers while the Sales Support Specialist manages the more operational/administrative back-end functions.
The Sales Support Specialist is involved with both pre and post sales functions, and serves as a liaison with Partners, Sales, Quote to Order teams (Finance, Legal, Orders Management, etc.), in an effort to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing. First line support for the North America Partner Sales team on implementation of new processes and procedures to ensure compliance and successful results with Oracle Partner Managers, Value Added Distributors and Partners. Provides operational support to resolve post order escalations (e.g. invoicing, provisioning, assignments)
Solid working knowledge of the following Oracle tools is important to be able to quickly come up to speed in this role: DAS, Q, Next Gen Sales, CPQ, Universal Order Tracker, Order Management. Solid understanding of the Oracle Approval Matrices is recommended.
Attention to detail critical. Follow-through skills necessary to secure information from internal and third parties.
Relationship management skills are highly desired.
Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills to interact with management and possible clients desired.
5 plus years relevant work experience.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated location(s)
California Pay Range: from $33.17 to $65.10 per hour; from $69,000 to $135,400 per annum. May be eligible for equity.
Colorado Pay Range: from $28.85 to $58.61 per hour; from $60,000 to $121,900 per annum. May be eligible for equity.
New York City Pay Range: from $31.59 to $61.88 per hour; from $65,700 to $128,700 per annum. May be eligible for equity.
Washington Pay Range: from $35.29 to $61.88 per hour; from $73,400 to $128,700 per annum. May be eligible for equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
