Find your future with us. The Boeing Company is seeking Simulator Flight Instructors experienced with transport category airplanes. Position Responsibilities: The job requires appropriate regulatory and/or customer certification and/or licensing with appropriate endorsements, compliant with local country aviation regulatory requirements Performs and leads simulator and ground school instruction for various types of simulator training on company platforms Designs and develops aircrew training material to meet company, customer and regulatory requirements Develops and maintains training plans to ensure company, customer and regulatory requirements for skill, knowledge, training and authorizations are maintained to operate on multiple product platforms Conducts training for customer pilots and ground based simulator flight instructors Mentors trainees as necessary Assesses trainee progress performance by completing all required reports and records to allow third-party evaluation and audit Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee FAA Air Transport Pilot Rating or Military Equivalent Simulator Instructor Experience (transport category airplanes) Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 5000 hours of Pilot in Command 2 years experience simulator instructor Typical Education / Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.). This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense. I have been a flight instructor for 5 years, teaching students of various skill levels and helping them obtain their pilot licenses.
As flight instructors, we develop the instruction material after insights and analysis. We assist the experts and offer supporting documents. We instruct the events and staff. We administer the instruments for regulated functions. We are responsible for preparing the instructional manuals. We also provide instructional manuals to staff and students. Our duties also include training the students for aircrew work. We offer assistance and training to the aircrew. We create instruction manuals for different departments. We provide practical training on various topics, such as aircraft systems and operations. Some of us also provide theoretical lectures to the students.
