Position Purpose:
The DCLP Partner position is responsible for performing various
loss prevention and safety related
activities in accordance with company guidelines and as directed by the facility's LP Supervisor.
Essential Job Functions:
The incumbent must be able to perform all of the following duties and responsibilities with or without a reasonable accommodation:

Merchandise accuracy auditing using various systems to accurately report variances.

Loss prevention and safety related tasks as directed, including but not limited to, auditing, guard post duties, report writing, etc.

Efficiently create documents and/or reports using spreadsheet software.

Type correspondence and/or documents using MS Office software.

Efficiently enter data via 10-key by touch.

Ability to complete training, become certified and operate power equipment.

Interact professionally and effectively through verbal and written communication with all contacts inside and outside the Company.

Must be able to move merchandise up to 50lbs, continually stand, reach, bend, walk and lift.

shift hours on a rotating basis and as directed based upon business needs

Must be detail oriented and able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-
Conduct physical audits in a warehouse environment to determine the accuracy of outbound loads as well as produce and maintain necessary paperwork as related to the audit function.

Ensure accuracy errors are communicated to appropriate supervisors & management and errors are addressed. Take action to identify the root cause of errors or discrepancies.

Utilize Warehouse management system (WMS) computer database to research and identify product number, obtain SKU number and locate merchandise within the warehouse.

Maintain a safe and clean working environment, ensuring all safety and sanitation regulations and procedures are followed in own work area and throughout distribution center.

Submit daily audit results at the end of each shift.

Conduct compliance/ loss prevention/ safety audits as directed.

Adhere to all company guidelines, policies and standard procedures.

Performs additional duties as required.

Communicate audit results to leadership and follow-up on actions taken to improve.
Supervision Responsibility:
Although this position generally does not entail supervising other employees, on occasion management may delegate additional responsibility to include providing functional guidance to others.
Work Environment:
The duties of this position will be performed in a warehouse environment in which there is constant exposure to, heat, cold, dirt, dust, fumes and/or noise. Work duties are almost exclusively performed indoors where the risk of minor injury should not be overlooked as a result of warehouse conditions.
Education/Experience:
The minimum educational background of an applicant to this position is a high school diploma or its equivalent (GED). Basic math proficiency and a working knowledge of computer fundamentals are required. A minimum of one year of previous experience in Security or Loss Prevention within a retail industry and/or warehouse environment is preferred.
