Position Description
CGI is seeking a Sales Manager to oversee one onshore and one offshore team supporting CGI clients through end to end solution offerings and professional services. The successful candidate must be able to work in a cross-functional environments and interact with representatives from CGI, and our end-clients. This manager will be work at various CGI/and client sites consulting and executing business and IT initiatives supporting managed services applications
Your future duties and responsibilities
This manager will be hands on within the various CGI e-desk teams managing the day-to-day operations.
*Will provide scoping and sales support for professional services globally.
*The team will consist of pre-sales scoping specialists and statement of work support teams responsible for proofreading and shaping requests/ backlogs in response to the changing business requirements or technical discoveries coming in from field services teams.
*Involved in managing a team that will support the process from internal planning meetings, scope of work for customer requirements & finalizing level of effort of proposed opportunity for Sales, Delivery Operations and Practice Teams.
*Setting up project ID, creating final draft versions of the proposed subscription & transactional Statement of Works (SoW), creating pricing models and Budgetary/RFP quotes for final approval by CGI Finance, Legal & Contract Review Teams.
*Manage and lead the operational process flow for deals through sales cycle, from conception of services scope, quoting, deal approval, and deal booking while providing valuable time back to sales.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
This member should also have some type of sales experience (sales pipeline understanding/and or deal management; some sales experience where they had to close a customer).
Someone who has worked in big consulting or system integrator firms.
Strong formal project management and team leading abilities.
Experience with managing onshore/offshore teams. Ability to multitask(familiarity with deal lifecycles in a services setting, familiarity with sales and consulting experience).
Ability to mentor junior members.
Familiarity with Netapp tools and products
Project Management Tools Experience, Visio, Powerpoint, Excel Word
