They're a company that wants to grow but doesn't want to do any of the things that are necessary to make it happen. They want to compete with the thousands of other shops out there without any quality systems or follow any best practices that make a contract manufacturer successful. I suspect it's one of those situations where they've been doing things the wrong way so long that if someone new was to come in and do things differently and get good results it would make other people look bad for not making those changes prior. Leadership is very arrogant and doesn't listen despite systemic poor outcomes with quality and on-time delivery.
Pros and Cons
They do pay on time
Understaffed and resistant to change. They want things to change but they don't want to change.
