McDonald is trained in Horticulture, one of the important component in Agriculture field. He has knowledge in areas of general agriculture practice, food and nutrition, fruit, vegetable, ornamental, land management and others. He is well acquainted with various research methods (both qualitative and quantitative) after working with various NGOs. He has very good interpersonal and communication skills that allows him to build good relationships with others and other people. He is able and ready to work in different aspects of life with minimum supervision even outside agricultural field. Currently, he has been working in research with different NGOs like Save the Children, Action Aid, Farm Radio Trust, World Vision International and the consultancies. Some of the key duties include conducting research interviews through Focus Group Discussions, Key Informant Interviews, and also conducting data collection using household questionnaire in form of digital.

ActionAid Nigeria is the first Organization that I have worked that gave me a level field experience with my senior colleagues. Positions doesn't matter so far you have something to offer. Everyone is an expert and will be called upon whenever needed. The SHEA policy is so great that it allows both gender to be safe while in the work environment.
