The job itself isn’t hard. It’s physical because you’re pushing people all day long over the whole hospital. 12 hour shifts are too long for this position. The inconsistency is what bothers me the most. I know things change but here it’s daily sometimes hourly. Frustrating to say the least. A lot of the staff have nasty attitudes as well. I know everyone is overworked but that doesn’t mean you can treat coworkers badly.
Pros and Cons
Wage is very competitive
Long hours for such a physical job, a lot of responsibility for being understaffed
