High-Level Overview

The Account Management Organization Solution Services (AMOSS) team is responsible for assisting the Account Management Organization (AMO) to maximize Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) while setting the groundwork for continued success in optimizing the customers experience through the various service offerings that are available through our Customer Success Organization. AMOSS Team Members provide consultative, product and industry thought leadership during the sales cycle. They do this by identifying customers’ business objectives and aligning those to our service offerings. This includes scoping/sizing, estimating, documenting, and communicating the customers’ solution and services strategy. AMOSS Team Members work with a variety of stakeholders including prospect’s C-Level executives and Oracle NetSuite’s Account Executives, Solution Architects, Delivery and Sales Leadership.

This manager-level position is responsible for leading a team of 8-10 pre-sales solution consultants to engage with our AMO Sales Team in selling software and professional services. An AMOSS Manager has 8+ years of technology implementation/project manager/consulting experience and industry expertise. An AMOSS Manager leverages this experience to coach AMOSS Solution Principals to become strong pre-sales consultants and to provide deal support to our Mid-Market sales teams. An AMOSS Manager should have a passion for coaching and mentoring, fostering cross-team collaboration, and team building.

Preferred Entry Qualifications/Skills include:

  • Bachelors’ degree preferably in Business, Accounting, Computer Science, Software Development or equivalent career experience

  • 8+ years of relevant experience

  • Demonstrates high emotional intelligence as a leader

  • Above average ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing (in English)

  • Knowledge of Oracle NetSuite products and industries or equivalent ERP consulting/project management experience

  • Ability to coach and mentor others

  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple workstreams

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • Takes initiative and must always have positive/professional attitude

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

  • Driving Customer Success sales and supporting the related software license sales cycle.

  • Managing your team’s deal portfolio and forecasting hours sold.

  • Coaching and mentoring team members to optimize sales savvy and NetSuite knowledge.

  • Guiding team through career development, goal setting, and performance evaluations.

  • Building strong working relationships with the sales and delivery teams.

  • Managing deal flow and responding to staffing and availability issues.

  • Identifying and resolving issues.

  • Identifying and implementing process improvements.

  • Assessing the changing market environment, including competitive landscape and evolving prospect needs, and implementing tactical and strategic initiatives to effectively respond.

  • Ensuring that operational policies are followed and that business objectives are achieved.

  • Responsible for operational metrics and business results for assigned area of responsibility. Typically manages individual contributors and/or entry-level managers.

  • Providing executive sponsorship on deals to support the sales motion.

  • Participating in the overall development and improvement of AMOSS as an organization.

Hiring Range: from $76,200 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
