Denver Zoo is a non-profit organization in Colorado where conservation forms a big part of what they do. They work in conjunction with the Association of Zoos and aquariums (AZA) to, among other things, educate visitors about the threats posed to certain species of animals and what people can do to reduce or eliminate this threat. The zoo is also involved in so many research projects. The workforce is 400 members strong, with 3,500 animals to take care of. Their mission is to inspire communities to save wildlife for future generations. They have job opportunities for operations managers, HVAC technicians, train and attractions operators, maintenance technicians, security specialists, and more.
