This Society sets the standard for occupational safety and health (OSH) ethics and excellence and. creating a network of resources in 80 countries, they connect nearly 40,000 OSH professionals around the world. It is a non-profit organization, headquartered in Park Ridge, IL. They serve as visible advocates for OSH professionals. They manage member-led relationships with key federal safety and health agencies as well as proactive government affairs at the federal and state levels. They thrive to create safer work environments by preventing workplace injuries, fatalities, and illnesses. They aim to provide an organizational culture that is inclusive, diverse, and advances equity across all aspects of the Society. They thrive to listening and incorporating a wide range of perspectives to makes a stronger and workplaces safer.
