The Brazos Valley Council of Governments (BVCOG) is a public entity composed of associated cities, counties, and special governmental districts, and serves the Brazos Valley region, which covers seven counties and 5,124 square miles. Membership of the BVCOG includes the counties of Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Leon, Madison, Robertson and Washington. State law requires that the governing body of the BVCOG be composed primarily of local government elected officials. All incorporated cities within these seven counties are also members.
