If you are not one of the "in" people you will be thrown all the less favorable tasks, shifts and duties. Don't bother following the chain of command to speak about your grievances, they simply don't want to hear it and then it puts a mark on your back. Department Heads and Supervisors for the most part are all part of the good ole boys club because they have either been there forever or their parents where or they are stepping on the hands on the wrungs to climb their way to the top
