About Cost Engineer

What does a Cost Engineer do?

As cost engineers, our responsibilities are projecting cost and budget reports for the manufacturing process, identifying and mitigating costs, and developing planning strategies to minimize project building financial losses. To ensure sustainability and adherence to business goals, we perform data and statistical analysis to calculate time deliverables and quality tests. We conduct research and negotiate supplies from reputable manufacturers and distributors that provide high-quality goods that suit building projects and client requirements.

Core tasks:

  • communicating with stakeholders and provide cost data and knowledge to help management decisions
  • keeping track of and record your activities
  • work with stakeholders to ensure that forecasts are correct and that necessary changes and problems are resolved
