Fenway Health, formerly known as Fenway Community Health Center, is an organization that serves LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender) communities. It was founded in 1971 by Northeastern University Students and is headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts. Staffed with volunteer medical students, The Fenway Community Center was established as a drop-in center at Northeastern University’s Christian Science Church basement building. By 1973, demand grew so much that Fenway had to relocate to 16 Havilland Street. The healthcare specialties at Fenway include behavioral health, dental, eye care, and pharmacy. The facility also provides HIV eradication and prevention and health navigation services. Fenway Health has various openings for nurses, health practitioners, physicians, clinicians, and many more medical and other professions.
