About Therapy Aide

What does a Therapy Aide do?

Functioning as Therapy Aides, we are responsible for maintaining the treatment rooms for the patients. We convey the prescribed procedures and medications to the patients. We have the ability to ensure that the patients are ready for getting physically treated. We welcome the patients in the rooms in a humble and comforting way to make them comfortable in the therapy rooms. Functioning as Therapy Aides, we help the patients in covering their injuries by applying heat packs, providing glucose drips and paraffin dips. We make the patients aware of the proper use of the equipment and daily exercise routines.

Core tasks:

  • enhancing the existing therapy treatments
  • updating the educational opportunities for patients
  • serving as the main point of contact between physiotherapists and the patients
  • maintaining the inventory supplies
  • following the instructions of senior physical therapist
