I worked for BGE from 1996-2002. I started as a contractor because there was a hiring freeze. Eventually my job opened up I posted and was hired. I found the work difficult because there was a complete lack of support from other areas of the company. Specifically the A/P department complained and delayed about cutting the checks I needed to pay tax liabilities as if it were for my own personal use. Also the mail room who I depended on to get my work out on a timely basis would often not cooperate with our deadlines. On many occasions at critical times I was at the post office at midnight getting my work postmarked by a timely due date.

Pros and Cons
Good money,
huge workload, lack of support from other critical areas, poor management
