What does a CHIEF Technology Officer do?

In the position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO), we improve products that serve customers. Compared to CIOs (Chief Information Officer) who aim to improve processes within the company, CTOs look outward. We focus on using new technology to help the business grow by improving offerings. For this reason, we must stay on the cutting edge of technology to ensure the best products. Our core tasks are associated with reviewing technology to enhance external products, owing technology offers, team management, and collaboration. Unlike CIOs, we are responsible for the engineer and developer teams that focus on research and development to improve company offerings. We also collaborate with external vendors.
