Chattanooga is a city in the County Seat of Hamilton County, Tennessee, along the Tennessee River that is bordering Georgia. As of 2019, the city had an estimated population of more than 182,000. Chattanooga is the fourth largest city of the state and one of the two principal cities of East Tennessee along with Knoxville. The city is internationally known for the 1941 song Chattanooga by Glenn Miller. Also, the city is home to the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga (UTC) and Chattanooga State Community College. The downtown area of the city has a wide variety of amenities such as architecture, entertainment, dining, cultural, and other attractions including the Tennessee Aquarium that opened in 1992, as well as the Creative Discovery Museum, Walnut Street Bridge, and more. The city’s website acts as a central repository for the residents, as well as people looking for any information relating to business opportunities, governmental services, departments, employment opportunities, and more.
