What does a Laboratory Supervisor do?

In the role of Laboratory Supervisor, we are responsible for supervising the laboratory workers. We manage the daily activities of the laboratories. Our primary goal is to ensure that all the tasks in the laboratories are being performed as per the safety guidelines of the clinics. Working as Laboratory Supervisors, we listen to the issues of laboratory workers and research their queries for providing them with perfect solutions to overcome their issues. We assure that all the workers of our team are following the safety precautions while performing laboratory tasks. We make proper records of the daily work that is performed in the laboratory and compiled reports of the issues as well.

Core tasks:

  • supervising our team’s laboratory functions
  • analysing the issues in laboratory equipment
  • implementing safety rules and regulations
  • resolving the issues of our team members
