About Network Operations Specialist

What does a Network Operations Specialist do?

As Network Operations Specialists, we are tasked with monitoring, upholding, and repairing computer network systems. We are the main alert personnel in case of any downtime. We work with the network support teams and help them identify network problems and propose solutions to errors and failures. Our other responsibilities including assisting customers and employees in understanding the system glitches and solving them. Building an appropriate infrastructure system is our top priority. We monitor different software, track any unusual activity, and make documentation.

Core tasks:

  • monitoring all system’s components of a network and suggesting improvements
  • propose solutions to error and crashes
  • create network performance reports
  • answer queries related to the network system
  • find network faults and direct the right individual for fixation
