Temporary contract work placement. Set shifts and hours. Apex is a staffing agency for other companies who hire Apex to staff their needs.

I worked with Bre Harrigan at Apex system for Talkspace. Bre is a great recuiter. When I started at Talkspace I was very excited. It was a great work balance environment. The only issue I had is that Talkspace has no intentions of hiring their workers permanently. The supervisors and team leads were very helpful and supportive. I really enjoyed working with the staff. I just hope the coworkers I had the pleasure of working with get hired permanently.

The people at Apex are caring people who match you to the job. They balance having your best interests at heart and still maintaining rapport with their clients.

It was hard to get in touch with Apex management. Roles of managers, recruiters and other personnel that you rely on to be informed of certain situations seem to constantly change and the employees working on the contracts are the last to know. Communication with Apex is terrible. They don’t hold their employees who are on these contracts in a high regard. The Apex management as a whole are friendly, professional but not reliable.

The place of work was clean, the trainers were not knowledgeable of the training that was presented by them, the onboarding was not orchestrated professionally, and the acknowledgement of a new employee was not evident when it came to in person orientation

My role required me to travel all the Navy bases and facilities in the US and that was the best part of the job. Most of time I saw the same team members from local area (especially, in San Diego). We worked for a supervisor from HP at each site, who assigned us detailed task for each day. Usually stayed from one to two weeks at a time. Rarely moved from one location to another without a break meaning not going home for a month or longer. However, my company paid all the expenses (air fares, rental car, lodging and meals). I could choose my own place to stay but it seems to be on the company's discretion. Regarding the meal expenses, I had to follow the company's stipulations otherwise I did not get reimbursed for the expenses I paid for the meals. Speaking of this, once a week I had to report the expense report to the company, which was the most unpleasant part of my job. More often, I ended up working less a lot less than 40 hours. I did receive medical benefit, though.

I was hired on @UBC, Apex was great and they helped you as much as you needed, but UBC is a company that changes practices every week. Even though the pay was good,the job itself was extremely stressful

They actual have been one of the easiest companies I have had to work through or for that was easy for sign-up and daily interactions. Pay is okay but they fill in as subs for prime contracts. So pay isn't what it should be but it will pay the bills.

Had a contract job through Apex as a senior technical writer. The person I worked with coached me for the interview and provided insight into who I was interviewing with. They were my coach, my cheerleader and my eyes and ears on the ground. My relationship didn't end after I got the assignment, either. Follow up was on a regular basis and they were amazingly helpful during the Covid pandemic. 10/10 would work with them again.

Supportive and welcoming team. Communication is never an issue. Contract positions are good quality and pay is fair.

It was a great experience helping to roll out the Optum ID. It's been a few years, now, but I still have fond memories of that contractor assignment.
