LEAD Public Schools is a network of six schools serving 2,800 students in Nashville. Initially, the School was started as LEAD Academy in 2007 as a single fifth-and sixth-grade school of 92 students in North Nashville, with a vision to provide students access to a great education that prepares them for the future. LEAD Academy ultimately grew into the high school, with the first graduating class in 2014. The LEAD Public School's mission is to nurture every student with care, enhance their skills and knowledge to prepare them for college and ready for life. Moreover, LEAD Public School strives to be the best place to work in Nashville and offers comprehensive benefits and perks including competitive teacher pay/up to 10% annual raises for high-performing teachers, 16 weeks paid maternity leave, relocation expenses, signing bonuses for critical certifications and more.
