LEAD Public Schools is a network of six schools serving 2,800 students in Nashville. Initially, the School was started as LEAD Academy in 2007 as a single fifth-and sixth-grade school of 92 students in North Nashville, with a vision to provide students access to a great education that prepares them for the future. LEAD Academy ultimately grew into the high school, with the first graduating class in 2014. The LEAD Public School's mission is to nurture every student with care, enhance their skills and knowledge to prepare them for college and ready for life.
