NYISO stands for New York ISO Independent System Operator established in 1999. They aimed to establish open and fair operations in the electricity market, develop bulk power systems, and to support policymakers, stakeholders, and investors with factful information. The other focal points of NYISO are providing low-cost energy solutions and low emission rates.
