The Oregon Lottery is a public trust as well as a for-profit corporation. With a constitutional amendment passed in 1984, Oregon voters formed their lottery and have since specified most of the methods in which lottery revenues are dispersed. The Oregon Lottery provides a variety of chances to showcase peoples’ talent, passion, ambition, and creativity. The majority of its roles are based at its Salem headquarters or the Wilsonville Payment Center, but they also have field representatives that serve all of Oregon. Its goal is to make a profit that is proportional to public welfare. While striking that delicate balance is difficult, its staff is committed and united in their efforts. Employees get the following benefits: medical plans, life insurance, and disability insurance. Career opportunities available are for custodians, senior managers, and supervisors.
