The City of San Antonio (CSA) is the seventh-most crowded city in the United States and the second-most crowded city in Texas with 1,547,253 occupants as of 2019. Founded as a Spanish mission and provincial station in 1718, the city turned into the principal sanctioned common settlement in present-day Texas in 1731. It is the state's most seasoned region, having commended its 300th commemoration on May 1, 2018. It was the quickest developing of the ten biggest urban areas in the United States from 2000 to 2010, and the second from 1990 to 2000. Straddling the provincial split among South and Central Texas, San Antonio secures the southwestern corner of a metropolitan megaregion casually known as the Texas Triangle. As a dynamic hub of different ethnic groups, it employs the best workforce and pays them nicely.
