What does a Pilot Captain do?

We, the pilot captains, operate aircraft in multiple industries. We are employed in the work for airlines, commercial sector, the military, or work for private jobs. We, pilot captains, form a component of an aircraft crew consisting of the captain, and the 1st officer or co-pilot and work together to navigate and fly aircraft safely. We perform regular inspections for aircraft. We perform pre and post inspections of flight for equipment, fuel, and navigational systems.

Core tasks:

  • operating aircraft safely and maintaining a high degree of professionalism all the time
  • monitoring climate conditions and communicating with air traffic control during flights
  • getting rest between flights
