What does a Clinical Therapist do?

We, clinical therapists, deal with individuals who go through mental issues or disorders. Our job includes listening to our patients and exploring any past problems that may be leading to present-day issues. We detect such problems and treat them using different techniques. We make sure to be emphatic towards our patients and work under a lot of stress and deal with it as well.

Core tasks:

  • designing treatment plans after detecting a mental disorder or issue
  • using good communication skills to understand a patient and what they are going through
  • being kind towards our patients to make them feel comfortable when sharing their concerns
  • conducting individual as well as family and group counseling sessions
