About Laboratory Assistant

What does a Laboratory Assistant do?

As Laboratory Assistants, we are accountable for assisting the chemists and scientists in their work. We have the ability to maintain the databases. We collect samples of chemicals and process them. After the analysis of certain samples, we are also accountable for analyzing them and preparing their results. We communicate the results with the scientists and healthcare providers. Operating as Laboratory Assistants, we perform clerical duties and help senior clerks with their front desk duties. We also maintain the cleanliness of the laboratory working environment and its equipment.

Core tasks:

  • filing the sample analysis results
  • performing a wide variety of tests in laboratories
