What does a Strategy Director do?

As Strategy Directors, we plan our company’s overall goals and vision. It is also our responsibility to advise senior management on strategic initiatives. Our job involves a lot of research, planning, and evaluation. We identify market trends, forecast patterns, research competitors, and formulate strategies. We continuously monitor the progress of our company and the competition. We do so to ensure that strategic goals and benchmarks are met. It is also our duty to oversee the staff that works on strategy implementation. A Strategic Director generally focuses on a specific department.
