I was a direct sales rep for time Werner cable for a couple of years. The department was the worst ran place I have ever been. Complete incompetence through and through. I made decent money but it was not with working for jokers like that.

I worked with Time Warner for almost twenty years in four different positions. Supervisors tried to make it interesting with competitions and contests but always kept the customers our main priority. You could almost always find help if you needed it, either through a supervisor or co-worker. And you couldn’t beat the benefits! They were awesome! Despite being frustrating at times, just like any job, I enjoyed my years as an employee.

Free services, great insurance, flexible hours, job advancement

This call center has major potential however the way it is ran can literally cause a agent to have a nervous breakdown. Begin with almost 3 months of training in a classroom, which never prepares you for the call center floor. When you graduate and get on to the actual calls and on your on your own stuck with a swing schedule for almost a year. You will have one of the new or horrible supervisors (unless your lucky enough to get Mike Chen who is the best ). That is why the sups have that swing schedule because thier team got a crappy score on the last shift bid so count on that. Or because they are a new sup and just starting out. Youll be lost n ur sup will barley be able to help you if they are even at thier desk at all. My 2nd sup was gone a year. The helpdesk dont n wont help. You will only get trouble problem calls and be forced to sell them something at end call or lose points from your scorecard. Barley any sales, the Hollywood office does new startups n they wont tell u that.
