Trelleborg AB is a multinational polymer manufacturing innovation company based in Trelleborg, Sweden. It operates in around 50 countries and defines its role as the creation of 'engineered polymer solutions that seal, damp and safeguard sensitive technologies in demanding environments' The company was established by Henry Dunker and Johan Kock in 1905. In 2011, Trelleborg AB was the third biggest competitor on the global market for non-tire rubber compounds, according to Rubber & Plastics News. In the summer of 2016, Trelleborg recused all its stocks of Freudenberg and ended the Automotive Anti Vibration Travel. It has about 24,000 staff and an annual sales of SEK 34 billion. Its shares have been traded publicly on the stock markets since 1964 and are now registered on the Nasdaq Stockholm, a high cap. Initially, the firm had 150 workers and manufactured bicycle and rubber tires for automotive applications.
