There were some good people at Whitman Requardt and I enjoyed working with some of them in the field. I worked on some very good projects that advanced my professional growth. Unfortunately, an attitude of age discrimination permeated the place. I frankly did not know why I was hired. Maybe it was done to check off a box for the EEOC. My manager did not have a degree or any experience in environmental science. His degree was in municipal planning! He did not like it when he found I knew more than he. Avoid this company. I got out after 13 months when I found a good one.
