The American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) was founded in 1947 as one of the largest medical organizations in the US with headquarters in Leawood, Kansas, and has about 134,600 members. AAFP's mission includes support for members, worthy representation for family physicians, advocacy for members, and an enabling environment to promote patient and community health. Members of AAFP get access to incredible values, such as having access to tools and resources to make their work easier. Through a partnership with Bank of America, SoFi, Hippo Education, and others, AAFP members enjoy discounts on their products and services. AAFP is currently headed by Gary L.
