About Underwriting Associate

What does an Underwriting Associate do?

As Underwriting Associates, we are responsible for evaluation financial risks working under supervision of an underwriter. We are responsible for protecting clients from financial loss. It is our responsibility to assess an insurance application to check whether a specified risk is acceptable. We also use risk management systems to calculate risks involved in an insurance. Assisting underwriter in generation of proposal is also our prime duty. We prepare required paperwork and maintain records effectively in the database. We recommend acceptance and rejection on insurance accounts. By conducting meetings with customers, we understand their concerns and strive to provide suitable services to them.
